BRANCHES OF DIVISION

Interconnectedness

Yet, interconnectedness—
It blooms without such governance,
A tree grown naturally,
Born of globalization's reach and rhythm.
Interconnectedness moves through us like air,
Making us aware,
Of others’ struggles, joys, and truths,
Fostering harmony,
Yet sowing discord where beliefs collide.

It forms new communities,
Transcending borders,
Spanning oceans.
We share knowledge, thoughts,
Feelings, and dreams.
We progress together—
Yet not without peril.

For this closeness blinds us sometimes,
Failing to see the larger picture,
And so, conflicts arise.
The world, ever interdependent,
Holds fast to inequality and division.

We are headed toward a blended cultural future,
A mosaic shaped by globalization,
Its beauty and its flaws entwined.
Our destiny depends on how we navigate
This intricate, evolving landscape.
